Adult and Teen Summer Reading 2026 launches today, Wednesday, June 24th! The theme this year is “Plant a Seed, READ!” We invite you to read any genre—fiction, mystery, sci-fi, graphic novel, teen, romance, etc.—in any format—print, audio, digital. Through reading you might just plant a seed for a new idea or perspective on life. The more you read, the more chances you have to win one of our prizes. We hope you’ll join us!
Are you a local author looking to promote your latest work? Register for our 2026 Local Author Showcase and have a chance to meet and talk with other local authors, gain timely advice from a published author, and sign and sell copies of your book(s), as well.
On the first Monday of each month, a nurse from Greenwich Hospital will be here at Perrot Library from 10 to 11 am to take free blood pressure screenings. The screenings will take place in the Rand Room, Waid Building. Because of the Labor Day holiday, there will be no screenings in September. The next screenings are scheduled for Monday, August 3rd.
