The Summer Reading theme for 2010 at Perrot was

SCOOP UP A GOOD BOOK!

You had to figure out:

WHERE IN THE CHILDREN'S ROOM DID WE

HIDE AN ICE CREAM CONE?

Week 1

Josie, age 7, won our first weekly contest! Fantastic detective work, Josie! She figured out that the ice cream cone was hiding in one of the trees on the Youth Services "Green." Josie won a bag full of cool stuff-- books, ice cream bowls, crafts, a Perrot baseball cap, and a gift certificate for ice cream!

Week 2

Johnna, age 7, won our second weekly contest! She figured out that the ice cream cone was hiding on top of the emergency lights by our coat closets. Whew, that was a tough one! Johnna won another bag full of cool stuff.

Week 3

Evan, age 7, won our third weekly contest! He figured out that the ice cream cone was hiding with our Arthur and D.W. dolls on top of the picture book shelves! Excellent hunting, Evan! Evan won another bag full of cool stuff.

Week 4

Joe, age 8, won our fourth weekly contest! He figured out that the ice cream cone was hiding in a basket by the foreign language books! Wow, Joe, I think that was the hardest one of all! Joe won our last prize bag, but he had to send his sister, Ellie, pictured below, to pick it up for him. Thanks, Ellie-- you're a great sister!
