The Giant Hug by Sandra Horning, illustrated by Valeri Gorbachev E HORNI
Owen wants to send his far-away Grandma a hug for her birthday. He goes with his mom to the Post Office to see about mailing a hug. In order to send the hug along, Owen hugs the postmaster, who has to hug the mail sorter, who has to hug the mail collector, who has to hug the airport driver… Passing that hug cheers everyone along the way. This touching book is great way to show kids that one person doing one good thing, however small, can make the world just a little bit happier.
