Steve Light reads from his first book, The Shoemaker Extraordinaire.

Steve does a scary monster voice for the ogre in Puss in Boots.

Steve showed us how he organizes all his ideas in his sketchbook using little Post-It Notes.

Steve demonstrates the hands-on project: shoeprint art!

All the kids scramble to get the shoes with the coolest soles.

Emma sets to work on her first piece.

Sara carefully paints the bottom of a shoe so it can be used like a rubber stamp.

The art looked pretty cool! Especially the ones with glitter paint.

Everyone is hard at work. Mrs. Mac stands at the ready with paper towels!
