Even animals have to go to sleep when night settles over the forest. Little fawns and baby bears must close their eyes, bunnies must stop hopping, and busy squirrels must stop crunching, so that everyone in the forest can curl up for a good night's rest!

Sally Lloyd-Jones, the author of Time to Say Goodnight  presented a special interactive program based on her book on Thursday, February 16th, 2006.

Everyone waits for the program to begin.	Ms. Lloyd-Jones' book was about different forest animals going to bed.	These boys pretended to be the bunnies.	Others pretended to be the deer...	... and the owls.
Then everyone pretended to be the animals together!	At the end, everyone fell asleep.	Ms. Lloyd-Jones gives everyone a big hand.	The librarians all wore funny slippers! Ms. Lloyd-Jones wore the pig slippers.

Sally Lloyd-Jones was born in Kampala, Uganda, and was raised in both Africa and the United Kingdom. She worked in publishing for several years, before leaving in 2000 to pursue writing for children full-time. She is an avid marathon runner, and loves taking pictures with her plastic camera. She lives in New York City, and enjoys dividing her time between the front half of her apartment and the back.
