Kathryn of Critter Caravan visited Perrot on September 30th, 2009.
She brought all kinds of neat animals to show to our Stuff and Nonsense and Spotlight program participants.
Not only did we learn all about these animals, everybody got to touch and pet them!

Here are some photos:

Chinchillas are SO soft! They have to take lots of dust baths to keep their fur clean.

Hedgehogs are spiny on the outside, so you have to be careful when you touch them.
Their spines help protect them from predators!

Angora rabbits are also super-soft. You can shear their wool and make a sweater, just like with a sheep!

Everyone looks at the bearded dragon, a type of lizard from Australia.
